Breathing Room is a unique collaboration between seven young curators creating a virtual, visual conversation. Using photographs by participants in The Center for Photography at Woodstock’s Artist-In-Residence program, they prompt each other to react and to respond. The goal is not to answer any one question or fulfill a single expectation, but rather to present an opportunity to shed new light on the consideration of contemporary photographic work.
Due by Tuesday is the curatorial collective facilitated by instructors, Alexandra Brez and W.M Hunt at the School of Visual Arts. In a class over the last year they have explored photo editing and curating with a focus on innovative platforms for presenting photographic imagery. They are united by a common goal; the presenting of something more than framed pictures on white walls.
